Option 1 — Delete it yourself, instantly (recommended)

Deleting from inside the app or website is immediate and permanent — no waiting on us. It works the same on the web and the Android app:

1. Sign in to Preschoolio (via the web dashboard or the Android app).
2. Open the Parent Dashboard (tap the ≡ menu, choose Parent dashboard, then solve the parent-gate question).
3. In the account section, choose Delete account.
4. Confirm. Your account and all associated data are erased immediately and permanently. This cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can no longer sign in, email us from the address on your account and we will erase it for you:

• Email: hello@preschoolio.com
• Subject: Account deletion request.
• Include the email address used to sign in so we can verify ownership.
• We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.

Delete only some data, or correct it (without deleting your account)

You don't have to delete your whole account to remove or fix specific data. To request deletion of particular data (for example, a single child profile or its learning progress), or to correct inaccurate data:

• Email hello@preschoolio.com with the details of what you'd like deleted or corrected, or
• Use Parent Dashboard → Support inside the app or website.
• Include the email address on your account so we can verify ownership.
• We respond within 5 business days and complete verified requests within 30 days.

Your account and any data you do not ask us to remove stay intact. You can also remove a child profile yourself at any time from the profile-selection screen (tap the ✕ on the profile).

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted we permanently remove:

• Your account and sign-in identity (email address and authentication record).
• Every child profile on the account.
• All learning progress — completed activities, unlocked chapters, earned stickers, and profile settings.

What we keep, and for how long

After deletion we retain a minimal, de-identified record of completed payments and subscriptions (amounts, dates, and transaction references — no longer linked to your name or email) for as long as required to meet tax, accounting, and other legal obligations. We also keep a small, non-identifying audit record that a deletion occurred. This retained data cannot be used to identify you.

Subscriptions — please note

• If you subscribed on the web, your subscription is cancelled automatically as part of deletion.
• If you subscribed through the Google Play Store, you must cancel it separately in your Google Play account — deleting your Preschoolio account does not cancel Google Play billing.
